A regular eye check up camp was organised for the students of JMDi institute, Dehradun. The purpose was to spread awarness among young Navy aspirants towards taking care of their eye health by making few healthy habbits like good sleep, giving rest to the eyes from constant reading and mobile phones, good balanced diet and outdoor activities like sports.
A special team of Optometrists and Fellow Optometrist were assigned for the activity and the team screened more than 150 students with preliminary eye checkup which included refraction, vision and color blindness tests.
Few students were screened out for myopia and dryness in the eyes, who will be treated at Amritsar Eye Clinic’s EC Road Centre with all camp benefits of 15 days no consultation charges on the camp prescription and other benefits.
