For the continuous education and training updation for our dynamic team of Doctors and Optometrist we at AEC regularly organise insighful lectures and training sessions to improve our knowledge and updating our skills in the ever growing field of Ophthalmology.

Today Ms Hifza Mehmood, Optometrist at AEC presented an insightful case study on Albinism and its Ocular Manifestation.

11th October 2024:

A screening camp was organized by Shri DD Sharma Trust and Pardeshiye Balmiki Samaj Samiti, to provide expert eye care consultation and other medical interventions to those in need so their sight can be saved by timely medicine or surgery.

Around 34 people were screened and from them 8 were diagnosed with Cataract and 7 were screened for advanced Retina evaluation at the Amritsar Eye LASIK Laser Centre where the patients will be provided with best diagnosis and surgeries.

2nd October 2024,

On Gandhi Jayanti our outreach program team organized a screening camp for the young resident girls and elderly women living at Akhil Bhartiye Mahila Ashram, Dehradun.

The Team lead by Dr Siroli Sinha, Anterioir Segment Specialist at AEC was greeted by students with a welcome song at their activity hall.

Approx. 82 residents were carefully screened by the team out of which 1 Elderly Woman was diagnosed with Cataract and 1 girl of age 12 was diagnosed with premature Cataract, also 8 other patients were referred to advanced diagnosis at the AEC Centre, where the diagnosed patients will be consulted for further treatments and surgery will be planed.

It gives us immense happiness to update you on our previous camp activity at Sadhna Kendra, Kalsi Vikas Nagar held on 19th September ’24, we have treated 8 patients from Cataracts and 2 from Pterygium
The happiness of clear vision and relief can be seen on the faces of the beneficiaries from our outreach program.

Amritsar Eye LASIK & Laser Centre under the aegis of Shri Dwarka Dutt Sharma Trust have been working on their program to reach patients who are marginalized financially, whos vision problems can be resolved just by a simple eye screening by a good Eye specialist but sadly due to poverty, unawareness and living in remote areas they continue to live with impaired vision which eventually ends up in complete vision loss which can never be brought back.

We at AEC under the aegis of Shri Dwarka Dutt Sharma Trust and with able guidance of Dr Dinesh Sharma (Director) have organized hundreds of Camps and helped tens and thousands people with our routine eye check ups camps and saved sights by medical intervention and Eye surgery to those in need.
