Shri Dwarka Dutt Sharma Charitable trust organized free Eye checkup camp with the aid of Amritsar Eye Clinic at Sadhana Kendra Ashram Dumet, Vikas Nagar, Dehradun on 16/08/2018. More than 31 people underwent the screening. BPL patients who require cataract surgery will be treated free of cost with help of trust.

A free eye check up camp was organized at Tibetan Colony Clementown Dehradun on 07^th August 2018. Over 50 Plus patients underwent the screening, out of which few were found cataract, diabetic, hypotension, history  and referred to higher Centre for further evaluation.

We participated in Respana river rejuvenate program on 22/7/2018. Planted more than 500 hundred plants in the valley at karwan village & also took the responsibility to take care of these plants for the next 4 years.

We were honored to have Dr. Sulekha Nautiyal, “Associate Professor Microbiology” SGRR Medical College, with us on the 20^th of June 2018. She shared her vast knowledge on the “Fungal Infection of the Eye & Role of Microbiology”. It was a great interactive session with the hospital staff.

We are proud to be a part of this cleanliness drive at Lachchiwala on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2018. With the motto of “Beat the Plastic pollution,” we made an effort to spread the message of “Say #NO to Plastic and save our Mother Nature”.In support of the use of non plastic objects we used only the bags that were made out of jute and we shall be distributing the jute bags at the Clinic @11 AM Daily. Team Amritsar Eye Clinic has also been in support of plantation of trees and planted 5 plants in the park and at the clinic.The Cleaning drive helped us to clear the park and river area from the plastic bags and bottles. The drive was also supported by respected Mr. Ajay Bhatt(President BJP), who also had some experiences and some valuable insights to share with all of us.We are pleased that we could do some contribution towards the preservation of nature on this beautiful day.We are very thankful to all the people who volunteered this event, who could take out time from their busy schedule and made this effort a success.
